    A teacher since 1997 Martin has worked for CMAT, as a consultant and Principal of North Cambridge Academy, for over 2 years.  Previous to joining CMAT, he was Principal of the all through school, 4 to 18, Kettering Science Academy.

    Martin has been head of English and Vice Principal for Parkside Federation working in Coleridge Community College and Parkside Community College.

    Samuel Fox

    Vice Principal at North Cambridge Academy

    Sam entered teaching through the Teach First programme which is committed to reducing the education gap for disadvantaged pupils.
    Through this programme he worked in three London schools where he had a range of different responsibilities; including Key Stage 4 and Teaching and Learning.

    Three years ago he successfully applied to be a member of the Future Leaders Programme, which is a leadership programme which again focuses on reducing the education gap.

    Sarah Flack

    Acting Principal of Sawtry Junior Academy

    Sarah has worked in Primary Education since 1997 which has included Senior Teacher and Leadership positions. As a Mathematics specialist, she worked across several schools on projects to develop mathematics teaching and learning prior to becoming Deputy Head at Sawtry.
    In September 2016 she was appointed as Acting Principal at Sawtry Junior Academy when the school joined CMAT.

    Sarah Wilson

    Principal of Sawtry Village Academy

    Sarah was appointed permanent Principal of Sawtry when it joined the CMAT in April 2015. Prior to this position she held a range of leadership posts at the former Sawtry Community College.

    She has dedicated her working life to improving educational provision in village college settings, some of this completed through her previous work as an advanced skills teacher.

    Simon Parsons

    Vice Principal of Sawtry Village Academy

    Simon trained to teach at the University of Durham (PGCE Physical Education) after completing a BSc Hons Sports Science and Geography at Brunel University.
    He joined Sawtry in 2002 having previously entered into teaching as an NQT in Peterborough from 1998. Roles have included Head of Year, Head of Department, Assistant Principal (2009 onwards) and Vice Principal from 2014.

    Anthony Partington

    Principal of Stamford Welland Academy

    Anthony joined CMAT in 2010 as part of the team seconded from Swavesey to support Orton Longueville School in its transition to Nene Park Academy. In July 2014, Anthony was appointed as Principal of Stamford Welland Academy in its conversion from Stamford Queen Eleanor with the brief to deliver the ‘Stamford Free School’ vision.

    Vice Principal of Stamford Welland Academy

    Julie was appointed to the position of CMAT Vice Principal in 2016, and is passionate about opportunities for every child to meet their potential. Julie leads Achievement and Standards at Stamford Welland Academy, and supports other schools in the Trust for school improvement and leadership. As a SSAT Lead Practitioner she has supported teaching and learning both inside and outside schools.

    Andy Daly

    Principal of Swavesey Village College

    Andy has been on the leadership team at Swavesey VC since 2007 and was appointed as Principal in 2013.  During this time, Swavesey has developed a national reputation for the quality and breadth of its curriculum.

    Andy has led on the development of curriculum for Swavesey; and worked for the Cambridge Area Partnership on the Diplomas when they were introduced in 2008.

    Jim Stavrou

    Vice Principal at Swavesey Village College

    Jim joined CMAT in 2010. As Vice Principal, he leads Swavesey Village College’s departments for maths, music, ICT and the new technologies strategy and pupil progress and achievement across the college.

    He has responsibility for Curriculum design and the Timetable. He also has central role in delivering successful school-to-school support programmes, particularly in the maths department, leadership roles and strategic development.

    Jacki Parris

    Vice Principal of Swavesey Village College

    Jacki has specialised in the professional development of staff for over 15 years. She has been responsible for establishing rigorous processes for recruitment, induction, whole school self-evaluation, safeguarding, CPD, staff absence management and performance management at Swavesey and within the Trust.

    She believes that all staff (both teaching and non-teaching) should have the opportunity to develop their skills, career and potential.

    Hannah Quinn

    Vice-Principal of West Town Primary Academy

    Hannah has worked at West Town Primary school since qualifying as a teacher in 2000, in which that time the school has changed considerably.

    She has progressed ‘through the ranks’, initially as a middle leader and was successfully appointed as Deputy Head in April 2012. During this time Hannah has worked in all year groups except Foundation Stage (although she would love this opportunity in the future) and therefore has a real understanding of primary good practice – in particular for children with English as an Additional Language.

    Chris Beckett

    Leadership and School Improvement Advisor

    Chris retired as Headteacher of The Deepings School, Lincolnshire in August 2014 after 10 years in post and 28 years at the school, his third in his career. In his time as Head, the school was always oversubscribed and currently has close to 1600 on roll, including 300 in the Sixth Form.

    Lesley Daniel

    School Improvement and Quality Assurance

    Prior to joining the trust team, Lesley was an Assistant Principal at Swavesey Village College having been promoted to this role after leading the English Curriculum Area of the academy for a number of highly successful years.  As an ‘outstanding’ practitioner herself, Lesley has regularly presented on SSAT raising achievement conferences.
